This is the best paperback you can buy for King Lear. We used it at our University. It has both the original Quarto and the revised Folio, (I hope I have the order of names correct). The original version is much darker and the latter version was changed due to public morality and prudishness, in my opinion around the 1700s? I am not sure of the exact date. It probably says so in the advertisement somewhere. Anyway I bought it and it has annotations and both versions. If any of my facts or dates or timelines are incorrect, Forgive my absent minded professor mentality ;)
