Reviews

I ordered this book for my teen piano students- what a great collection of popular songs! It's really difficult to find decent piano arrangements, especially of more recent movie/radio songs. Admittedly I recognize more of these songs than they do, but the songs from recent movies like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings have kept my kids happily busy in their practice time. Very well arranged- the songs are simple enough for (strong) level 1 students and up to (weak) level 4 students. They are fun to play, and although they're simplified Coates has kept the most important parts of the songs: the ones that make them catchy and fun.My husband (a guitar player) and I have also enjoyed this book- the chords are included and we can pick it up and just jam a bit.
